At first I was surprised at how so many people would train their bodies so vigoursly whilst paying little to no attention to the beginning of the kinetic chain. In weightlifting most lifts begin at the hands so I figured what use is a strong muscle in the torso if the hands can’t support the held poundage. Several articles which I read soon afterwards reiterated these same thoughts so I figured I’d be one of few to get on the grip training wagon and begin doing things that the next person is failing to do.
I like new things. I like originality and I like outside of the box training and most of all – logical training. There’s still people out there using wraps for insignificant barbell poundage's. It’s those people which serve as inspiration. There’s a lesson to be learned from everyone. “Use the unmotivated to motivate” – to quote myself!
